Military trains are a fascinating conundrum. For years I've wanted to start building one, but my passenger train efforts stopped me. I recently started building some models for a WWII military train, and I'm enjoying every second. I'll continue to feed this topic for many months, I'm sure. Anyway, here's some of the finished and in-progress models....

The main character will be a string of these.... 17 give or take.... 13 built and painted thus far... once finished, I'll weather them lightly

Nothing like a bunch of Shermans. There is an active thread called Military Mondays you may want to consider adding your updates to that thread. I believe it is in the Photograph Forum.

Thanks everyone… I’ll try to keep it serious, but this is more fun for me than my passenger train project efforts, of which I’m proud of. Military trains are too much of a rabbit hole… and everyone gets all worked up. I think military trains are just super cool, and offer a great opportunity for developing new skills, like weathering for instance.
