Hi Alan, this message is due to the fact that the browser in your computer dose not have the drivers needed for the HoopLa system. If you go to an up to date software version the problem will go away.
I get the same message when I dial in at work because our system is antiquated and our IT department knows it. They are in the process of a system up grade.
In the case at work I can not do attachment responses to anothers post and there my be a few other options not at my dispoal there that I do get on my home system.
Good Luck.
I do not use Internet Exploder 9 so I'm not entirely sure about this. There is a feature called "Compatibility Mode" or something like that in IE9 that has to be turned off.
The REAL solution to the problem is to change browsers. Internet Exploder is a terrible browser when compared to Firefox or Google Chrome. In independent tests run by several of the computer magazines, IE9 consistently ranks last among all the various web browsers out there. It even scored lower than Opera, which has only a tiny market share.
I use Firefox with duckduckgo instead of Google. Firefox is pretty reliable. I also use some add ons to cut down the ads and free up screen space for my eyes.
Good luck!
P.S. I have a feeling the entire Internet is migrating away from IE, the same as was done when Netscape and others were obsolete.
Second; you may find your computer running somewhat better due to less "Resources" taken by the programs.
It seems to be caused by having Compatibility Mode turned on, Check under the Tools menu to turn it off
Gee, I have firefox and I still get the message about compatibility
Here at home, I use Firefox and Safari (the latter came installed on my iMac) exclusively. I have had absolutely no problem accessing the forums or any other site for that matter.

What version?
The current version of Firefox is Version 11.0.
If you still have version 10.something, you need to update it.
