We recently changed subscription services. The new provider did not have the option of automatically indicating on the forum avatar that you are a digital subscriber.  We are in the process of developing software to correct this but until then, we need your help.
Don't miss out on important digital announcements and offers!  If you are a CURRENT digital subscriber and the "Digital Subscriber" tag does not appear next to your forum display name, please take time to click HERE to get this important designation added.

Guys...just to let you know we have to enter these manually so you may not see the digital tag right away as we need time to enter the information.  Also, once the new programming is done, new digital subscribers avatars will automatically indicate that they are a digital subscriber.  No forms to fill out.

Thanks!

I tried the digital subscription for a year but dropped it in 2019. The reader app just did not work well. With other on-line reader apps I can swipe between pages easily. With the OGR app swiping was so delayed the experience was frustrating. There was a page advance bar on the bottom but it was not granular enough in it's operation to be useful. If you have improved the page swipe on the app please advise and I would be happy to try a digital subscription again.

The digital app we used in 2019 has been updated twice since that time. The system we use now with our subscription management system at SimpleCirc is much easier to use. The speed at which pages load is now entirely based on your local internet connection speed. It's not bogged down by a lot of "digital code overload" in a bloated app.

The digital issue is a PDF file, and we are not using an app, per se. The experience now is an easy online viewing of the PDF, or you have the option to download it to your computer or tablet for off line reading.

Something else that has changed since 2019 is that the OGR Digital Library now contains every issue of OGR, all the way back to Run 1 of June, 1969. You now have access to over 315 issues via the Digital Library, plus you have access to scores of OGR Videos hosted here on this forum.

CLICK THIS LINK to renew your old Digital subscription. I think you will enjoy the new reading experience.
