What sound board for Atlas SD35

I'm considering putting sound in an Atlas SD35 (DCC ready model). Does anyone have any advice about what I should use. I have plenty of Atlas gold line O scale engines with the QSI sound built in, but I would be willing to go with any manufacturer. So, which boards would fit, have high enough current ratings, and more importantly, have good sound quality. Personally, I'm not very impressed with the sound quality offered by some of the gold line locos, so I'd like to do better.
