2 weeks ago on Sunday, 7/16, I spent a sunny, 70 degree morning at Lilly,PA., just west of Cresson.
6 trains and 2 helper sets passed in about 2 hours, Amtrak's PENNSYLVANIAN was 1 of 3 eastbounds, the x-PRR signal bridge was an excellent prop.
I wish I could post the video I took of the coal drag, but it's too long.

On the western slopes of The Curve:Gallitzen,Cesson,Lilly and Cassandra. Great train watching. After all of these years I still miss Erculiani's and the PRR.

Ed, I bought a factory-refurbed Nikon AF-S Nikkor 18-140mm last winter, its been on the camera since April.
Nice all-purpose lens, tried just about everything except video.
That's what I've been using for a good while now. Stays on one of the D7000's all the time.
