Your Barnes & Noble must be very different from ours. Our store sells only books.
They had the two Battery G scale Harry Potter and Polar Express for $55
Nothing New here! Bed Bath and Beyond has them near that price anyway.

I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.
Didnt see anymore at our local B&N. While the book is pretty much intended for beginers, it does have some pretty nice photo of layouts, including Richard Kughn's home layout.
Unfortunately, I've found that Schleicher's books are rife with factual errors. They really are only interesting for those pictures, many of which are erroneously captioned
I picked up a Santa Flyer set today at our B & N for $125. I got the last one they had left. My wife was really happy as she's been wanting a Christmas train to run on our village layout. I may run over to the other side of town and see what the other store has tomorrow. If they have one I'll pick it up also.
Cheers and thanks for the heads up about them.

I wish that was the case here. The books at my local B&N are slowly being replaced by a number of other "things." A very big change from 10 years or so ago.
Wow - mine sells a lot of stuff, but not toy trains. I'd remember if they had had them in either of the two stores near me - I'm in there alot. Interesting that some stores carry Lionel trains andothers don't . . . .

Things? Care to elaborate? I'm just seeing books/magazines, calenders and reading glasses.
