Specifics. Lionel passenger truck from a Superliner car. Car was brand new and only opened this morning from a sealed case. I had it for quite a while. Regardless, I saw one of the rollers hanging down from the truck. Not good. I almost just cut it off and live with only one roller on this car compared to a disassembly.

Well, I decided to take it all apart. When I got the truck assembly out, I disassembled as far as I could go.

The roller appears to have a broken rivet. This rivet attached to the metal bracket under the sliding plate for electric uncoupling. There are two locating pins and then the rivet.

I do not see anyway to install a new rivet and get a tight connection because the plate is in the way. The tip of the dental pic shows the rivet hole.

Is an epoxy a good choice to just glue it fast? I am plumb out of ideas.

Thanks for any advice.

Donald
