I opened this set today for the first time in years. I don't recall ever seeing anyone else with these engines. As a matter of fact I remember Atlas finding a set for me to honor my pre-order. Were there only like 25 of these made then? Photos coming.

Johnny, The Atlas O F7 engines are great running engines. Not sure how many were made. I have two powered B units and a non-powered B. I pulled the two AA units out to pull the Amtrak cars I detailed this summer. You will like your engines.

This is great John. Thank you.
Here's mine - Amtrak 102. Not sure how rare it is but it's a beautiful model and it runs well.

I have 1 powered and 1 nonpowered Atlas Amtrak F7. That locomotive is absolutely excellent!!! Smooth and strong locomotive.

Thanks for the nice photo.
Those do look sharp! The sounds are super clear and that sure is a prodigious smoke unit. Enjoy!
I don't think they are extremely rare, but who knows. I've got a powered A/B and a non powered A. Here's a video of the A/B with some of my Atlas CZ cars
Thanks for the video.
