They're excellent cars, for those of us who don't have the space to run full-sized scale passenger cars.  I just recently got my long-awaited NYC observation car, to go with the other NYC cars I already have (I posted it in the "Buy anything cool lately" thread a few weeks ago).

Only problem I ever had with any of them was a broken roller wire.  I replaced it with a heavier-gauge wire, and it's been fine ever since.

Attractive cars but SIRT is correct, the cars are far too light to track well.

My solution on my CNJ cars was to "replicate" the prototype by adding a bar stock center sill.  Factory added weight consists of two pieces of sheet steel that cover about 1/3rd of the sub-floor space and leave a gap in the center of the car.  The bar stock requires a little surgery on a couple of cross members, drilling and tapping but it  stiffens the car, adds plenty of weight and enhances appearance - if consistent with your prototype.
