Picked up an Atlas undec GP9.
All the bits and pieces need to be installed - no problem.
Included was a bag of 14 of little black squares with a milled out area (left). Jig to install the lifting eyes? Also the hammer looking thing, any ideas? The horizontal metal part will slide in the plastic holder.
Nothing in the box explaining what these items are.

The black squares are to lock wires on the circuit board. You put the wire in the hole and press the cover over it. Not sure what the hammer is for aside from maybe tapping the covers on.
No torpedo tubes.

Still don't know what the hammer looking items is, but it is magnetic, Possibly a tool to put ladder rungs on with.
Is it a powered unit with a QSI decoder? If it is then that is the "magic wand" used to reset the decoder in the event that it becomes unresponsive to DCC commands.
To reset an engine, power the track with about 10V DC and hold the "wand" an inch or two above the reed switch which is usually located near the smokestack. I think there is a verbal message that indicates that the decoder has been reset.
