Well fellows, I am not near as good at setting up scenes as say trumptrain or some others but I thought I might post one or two just for fun.

Here is the Industrial section of town where the local freight line touches the main.

Must be lunch time, everyone's hungry for McDonald's, even the racoons!

Officer Murphy (Small Towns entire police force) is having quite a time keeping lunch time traffic moving.  He is trying to clear a path for the Fire Chief's '50 Mercury to get by...they are golf buddies on the weekend.

Looks great Don, I like the classic toy cars from another time. A good story with layout photos is always great fun!

Great cars everyone!

@Capetrainman You know Paul I think half the problem you have with all the traffic jams on your roads and at the gas station is all the Hot Young Ladies you have hanging around! Now you put an older lady with a cane and a nasty look on her face I bet things will start moving again! LOL

@trumpettrain Patrick great scene, it sure looks like something serious is happening there with the wheel loader! I don't know if its the reporters photo but it looks like the red box car to the left of the wheel loader is off the tracks! You might need something a little bigger! LOL

Well guys here is my offering today. The darn Santa Fe box truck was going threw town a little fast and rolled over, The fire department was on scene to check everyone out and do traffic control till the police showed up. Well they called for a wrecker and Santa Fe didn't want to spend the money so then send a yard tractor out to see if they could roll it back on its wheels and just tow it home with a chain! LOL

Don thanks for sharing we need to see more of your vehicles from time to time

The gas station is busy this sunny Friday afternoon with folks tanking up for the weekend!  The redheaded kid in the VW bus isn't happy with the wait and gestures to the gas station attendant, as his father stands by taking in the sights.

The long line extends over the "main line" where the surfer stands patiently by his old man's 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster "woody," with surf board on top.  His surfer girl friend lifts the back window to reach for a cold one...by all accounts, a fun weekend is ahead at the shore

Paul I like that yellow wagon thanks for sharing

1930 Model A, made by Brooklyn. Nomally it's a $100+ model, scored off ePay and arrived today, for $40 including postage. I will be lightly weathering it and adding a 1943 TN plate.

I'd been wanting a Model A for some time, glad to finally have one, and I even like the color!

I wanted some O Scale 1930s era tractor-trailers for my layout so I designed, printed and assembled my own custom ones!

Auburn Rubber Style GMC 1937 CoE [3)

I decided to focus on the 1930s, my favorite automobile era. I designed a truck based on the 1937 GMC CoE, the very first of the cab-over-engine style semis, in Fusion 360.

I printed out several trucks and trailers in sturdy ABS filament. They're very easy to print although the trailers suck up a lot of material.

To give the trucks a classic 1930s dimestore toy look, I added rubber O-ring tires to the models. I mostly settled on simple paint schemes based on what I found in period truck advertisements such as this. The hubs are also 3D printed and the axles are made from steel escutcheon pins pressed in to sections of rubber tubing.

For trailers, I started off designing a car hauler. This doesn't match a specific historic setup but it is closely based on a period toy by the Auburn Rubber Toy Company. I've added some vintage rubber-molded sedans from the Sun Rubber company as a load.

I also designed a streamlined Fruehauf trailer. This is directly based on the Fruehauf Warehousemans Van from the late 1930s.

Keep on trucking everybody!

Another day at the corner of Summer and North Main Streets...traffic is heavy with folks headed to the shore for what is forecast to be a "steamy weekend!"  Gas is up a cent to .25 cents / gal before the 4th of July weekend, but the price hike hasn't stopped the surfers and beach goers from heading east to the shore.  The traffic jam isn't helped by "Sid Brown" and his DeSoto breaking down in the middle of Summer Street.  The "law' is observing the weekend show, and it will only get more interesting as day turns to night!

The picture at the bottom here is edited with the "Zeke" effect as mentioned by "Ted" earlier this year...I finally got the time to find it an apply it...many years ago, I knew of a guy named "Zeke" in my line of work...I wonder what he's up to these days and if he's still with us...
