Just found a magazine mail-in card for an HO Donald Trump F unit passenger set. Offered by Bradford Exchange and says send no money, and nowhere on card or in ad does it give price of set. Guess apply to Bradford Exchange. Says each car has memorable images, but does not show or enumerate cars
"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.
Post your non-O scale stuff here!

From their web site it is a A unit, B unit and a vista dome. Pricing is a bit unclear, but it appears to be $80 each piece with $11 shipping. Engine is issue one, B unit is issue two (with track and power pack) and vista dome is issue three. No information as to when they are issued and there is promise of more cars to come.
If you look into it, Bradford seems to mostly be a scam.
Here is a link to a site full of customers complaining about bad business practices.
I have seen those ads. The trains in the ad look (in my humble opinion) like the cheapest and lowest quality trains. Barely any detail and never a mention of what kind of motor the locomotive has or if it has any electronics (DCC, sound etc) so one has to assume it has nothing but maybe a headlight. Reminds me of Tyco trains from the '70s. And after reading some of the complaints of the company makes it even worse.
I've got a complete Jets train set from the Bradford Exchange I received as a gift. I plan to sell it when the Jets reach the Super Bowl to get maximum value. This is a very long term investment. I better put it in my will.
the Bradford Exchange is located in my neighboring suburb; a few blocks from me. they have had issues. they are NOT the Danbury Mint.

Bachmann makes most of the trains for Bradford. You get what Bradford is willing to pay Bachmann for, meaning no electronics except for the motor and headlight. They are really at the low end.

As far as being collectable, they are very good at collecting dust.

Hey if they can get Trevor Lawrence and a good coach and then some talent they could be in the Super Bowl.
If I were to buy a train set like this I would prefer it be larger O or S gauge trains which I believe are more suited for temporary displays or under the Christmas tree.
If the quality is that poor then be sure to include a Lionel HO exploding box car and......dream on?
