Bought my son a WBB O27 Hudson for his birthday!
How do I get adopted
I usually don't post prices Ive paid, but I got this pair of older Legacy GP-7 diesels shipped to my door for $180. Seems to run good during initial testing. I saw it pop up on ebay as a buy it now listing and I couldn't pass it up.
Love the graphics
@WesternPacific2217 posted:Chris, I really like those two SP SD45T-2, nice acquisition! Please post a photo of the SP FM Train-master when you get it. I have fond memories of SP FM's pulling the San Francisco to San Jose commuter trains when I was very young!!
It was delivered today, Very nice looking locomotive.

Thanks Chris for posting that! Wow, that's the best looking O scale version of a FM Trainmaster I've seen so far! Super detailed! Congrats on that purchase!
Weill I am a unabashed tank car collector and I saw this one on e-bay as a Buy It Now and could not resist. Its a Lionel 2 Dome # 36117 of more or less traditional structure, it as a sheet metal platform under the tank and 2 automatic couplers. The trucks are unique they are die cast and have actual spring suspension. It was from the "made in China" era or Lionel (LLC) from 2008. The tank casting is certainly the traditional Lionel 2D casting that we all know and has been used for decades but the color is somewhat unique its a dark somewhat purpleish blue. I had never seen this color used before. The price was more than reasonable at $28 all in including tax and shipping. So here she is:
Best wishes

Tim Mac, has that Space Force diesel just been released or is that from another production run? Thanks Dave
Great buys everyone!
On Tuesday Menards released their new M&Ms caboose and I’m glad I ordered it because it was sold out by Thursday afternoon. Well it arrived a few hours ago. My Menards candy train is up to date! 😁 Here’s some photos and a video.
You started up my diabetes again

Here are two double wood sheathed box cars that I ordered from Berwyns about 11 months ago. Since I had a 43 year career in the Bell System; the Western Electric car was a must. The RCA car hit me from my past. As a teenager I was a RCA record club member. I completely forgot the Roadname on the RCA car. It’s the one that’s been attacking my wallet lately; PRSL. I may have to get another one!

As I mentioned before I am not in this hobby for the investment, I would have to make decals for Ready Kilowatt for that Western Electric Car

I recently received this from a special order through the Train Loft in Winston-Salem, NC (MTH Premier Reefer):

Bob,
I too purchased the western electric car. I love it. As I'm also a current employee of Verizon with 17 years. I always enjoy hearing about the old bell days from the older crowd.

I guess anytime is a good time to parr teee .
I was glad to see what I thought was a wine car for a change...........but on another post I was devastated to find out that Cheerwine was a soft drink !!!
Don't know if it's true ....but hey....we don't have to have an ADULT beverage to parr teee.

It is a cherry flavored soda that was created in North Carolina.
Tis good dat the younger generation can join us. WE does have to drag them from them pesky puters . . oh wait my hypocrisy. I'm on one of them darn things, should be working on my kit bash SP three car diner set.
MTH McDonald's
That is way too much fun, but did you order a filet of fish for the boss

Nice Corey .
I wondered if the kitty could smell the fish sandwiches ?

Here's the 28th Anniversary Set with the 2 extra custom-painted cars. Until the K Line Hudson is done, my MTH Premier Hudson or Williams Niagara (on the siding), both expertly converted to PS3 by gunrunnerjohn, will pull the 7-car train.
Most Excellent, While The Rod action is fantastic. It didn't take anything away from the passenger cars. Watched three times, brings a tear to the eye

Guttersnipe, do you have these cars? If you'relooking for them, there's a set on ebay the last I checked. This is my favorite of all the K Line heavyweight sets.
Thanks for the information, however I model western United States and try to stay with in those parameters. That is however precisely what I'm looking for, but within the SF or Up guidelines. Thankyou again and keep em rolling,
@Brooklyn Corey - Loved the McDonalds, the action of the drive thru plus the very clear voice effects were great. Thanks for sharing
@BlueComet400 - Beautiful train...thanks for the video.
Best Wishes

$5.44???!!!!!!!!!!!
Picked up this MTH Premier uncatalogued Union Pacific Auto Carrier with four (4) black diecast Ertl porthole T-Birds at a good price at the Greenberg Show in Wilmington, MA this past weekend.
Trying to decide if I should re-paint in B&M colors to go with my NE railroad collection.

As a fan of kit bashing, a BM repaint would be appropriate, but definitely a nice find, enjoy.

Haha. That's clearly from the late 90's early 2000's. The Ford explorer still had the old Firestone tires that were all recalled. But, in all seriousness, that's really cool @Brooklyn Corey. Enjoy!
