Picked up this custom run of Premier woodside caboose by The Train Loft. I would call it a fantasy scheme, but I’ve had difficulty finding a steam era caboose for my N&W steam. Most have the diesel era logo. Like the detail improvements on this recent run by MTH.

Enjoyed the video. Will follow for additional videos. Nice set of passenger cars. I also have a soft spot for the Powhatan Arrow. Especially since my family’s genealogy research showed our Native American roots came from one of the tribes in the Powhatan Federation and a bloodline to that sister of Pocahontas.
There were some pictures and discussion about Divco trucks on the Photo Chain. I took a look at the bay to see what was out there. There were about 2 dozen nice trucks but I restrained myself until I saw this one. After all we had a diaper service for my 2 oldest kids.
Something else to commemorate on the layout.
Sorry this is one I'm not fond of, Learned to drive in one of those. My dad was a retail milkman. Stick shift driving standing up, no seat. You can keep the Divoc
I got a NIB ATSF Culvert Gondola, 39472, from eBay for a very nice price. I got it because I was able to acquire command controls culvert loader and unloader, also NIB, from a recent auction. I'll be getting them soon, so more pics to come.

Ouch!
A small haul from MR Muffin’s auction; but with a few unique tank cars.
First up Lionel AEC Tank car with nuclear reactor fluid.
Next K-Line Double Dome Firefighting Tank car with extensible boom.
This is right at home with the PRR TANK Car with nozzle.
Next is a lionel Ethyl tank car
Following up with a Lionel Third Avenue Trolley
Lastly a box of track workers
I really like that see threw tank car
@pennsyfan - What is the K-Line SKU for the "K-Line Double Dome Firefighting Tank car with extensible boom"?

I tried to show it but I couldn’t get a good shot there’s a white ball that moves around comes to the top then drops down.

Here you go; happy hunting

Does it sing poorly when it's in transit? Or make bad fish jokes?
Yes I did. A special thanks to @MELGAR for giving my a great education on the New Haven Railroad as well as some prototypical notes about what was and when. This New Haven caboose (NE-6) by Atlas is prototypical around 1955 as far as the paint scheme is concerned IIRC from what Mel told me. I tend to model a out 1949 area to keep steam alive even though it is on its way out. This gives me the opportunity to have some great steam engines that were fairly new that didn't have a chance, and some diesel that I like.
This will pair perfectly with my New Haven Mountain(Mohawk).

@pennsyfan - Got it; thanks!

I was also at the Acworth show, found 3 Hogwarts cars and a Madison heavyweight, all like new, all really cheap! Woulda bought more, but the overall pricing seemed a lot higher on most everything. Typed while sitting aboard The Chickamauga Turn train ride on this gorgeous fall day 😀

You're lucky you didn't find all you stuff, except your Railroad stuff on the front lawn, She would hold that back to sell
It goes with your Eastern Seaboard motif.
This is likely cool to only me, but I got a kick out of it. M & G Hobbies in Delran, NJ was my go-to hobby shop. More than 20 years ago, I bought the box car with the red logo on it. I have never come across another M & G car, until today. Found one at the TCA meet in Philly, and immediately thought it looked different than mine. Sure enough, the logo is blue. Frankly, I am not very observant, so I am amazed I noticed.
The store has been gone for many years, but I had to buy it anyway.
@Scrambler81 I like it because of the Battleship New Jersey on it. Depending on when the car was made, it was probably just before or after she became a museum.
Definitely a good reason
Bought a couple things that I didn't really need but the sirens continued anyways. The NYC and DLW were from a desire to have some older rolling stock for a couple current and forthcoming engines. Then the NASA tank car was for fun. Oh and the real reason that I wanted to make the post was to give a shout out to Mr. Muffin's for some excellent customer service after I realized that I somehow messed up my email when placing the order.
Buying stuff we don't need is the name of the game, and those are so exceptional I would be upset if you passed them by. How I remember the days when I could get down on the floor and enjoy my trains, but now if I do that my wife would have to get my neighbor over here with the engine lift to get off the floor.

Man I love the battleship. Go Navy.
I got this Burlington Northern SD45 for a decent price. I had to glue the piece that's on top of the cab window back on. This makes my 5th SD45 in my fleet (3 regulars and 2 tunnel motors). Feels good to buy a train again after having a terrible summer.

Very nice; do you know what company made it; or is it a custom job? Is there a number on it?

Hahaha - my days of getting down on the floor for anything are in the rear view mirror. If I ever find myself on the floor, it’ll be due to an abrupt reintroduction to gravity.🙁🙁🙁

I'm in the same boat you're in but I have an ace in the hole: my neighbor, a former contractor, has a fork lift and is a train collector. If I spend too much time on the floor I just call him. He understands.
A few new items. The different horns are sampled in the first video. In the second video, we see the first piece of the Southwestern Limited. A Vision Baggage Car comes tomorrow. The rest of the consist, hopefully soon! If anyone has the passenger cars to sell, please contact me.
