CAB 2 Remote

All of a sudden my Legacy CAB2 remote won't turn on. I replaced batteries and they're fully charged. I press the "ctc" button and after a second delay, the home page flashes on with only numbers on the keypad, then goes dark. Need help with this one

I have to hold the "ctc" button down to see anything and it lasts only a couple of seconds. Otherwise cab2 doesn't turn on at all
