Caboose Cam picture is purplish color?

I had the same thing on one I got for Christmas.  Returned it to Lionel for repair, then COVID hit.  If/when I get it bock...

Well, 2650K (Kelvin) is on the warmer (red) end of the color spectrum. 3200K is balanced or neutral. Try your caboose-cam under different lighting conditions and see if that makes any difference.

With the lights off and the shades open during the day, the colors look more realistic, but still not all that good.

A few weeks from now I will try setting up a track in other locations with different types of light.

I do have a small color camera that I purchased at York, that picks up colors correctly. It has an antenna that broadcasts to a small receiver, that connects to a tv.

Works great....but too big to fit in a caboose. I usually push it in a gondola.

It is odd that the Lionel caboose cam will not work under normal lighting conditions.
