I have a WTB post that is not needed because Rich put me on the right track, but because he replied I can't delete it. Apparently, because it is my post, neither can I report it to have it deleted. I'm just trying to make room for the rest, so is there a method to accomplish this?

Send an "ALERT", i.e. select "Report Topic", to the Moderator, and ask him to delete the post/thread.

I did change the topic header. Sometimes  it takes a moderator a long time to get the mundane chore of looking for  posts to delete. I am trying to lighten their load a bit and move someone else's post up a notch.

I believe it is board policy to have people put "delete" in the header to flag a post for deletion.
I seriously doubt that anybody deletes individual for sale or wanted posts by hand. They probably have a script.

Might be faster, though if the software is actually set to detect "delete" and do so it doesn't require interaction. Otherwise we have to work with the software as designed. I'm just glad OGR provides us with this forum!
