just imagine this in o scale.....
"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.
Post your non-O scale stuff here!

WOW!! That is awesome! And that is in his basement I assume, wish I had space like that. But that was a lot of work, I really don't know if I'd have the patience to last it out that long before they committed me to the loony bin LOL! A very nice layout overall.

Far from it. This text is located directly under the video"
"2017 Lehigh & Keystone Valley model railroad museum located in Bethlehem PA It’s a 4500 sq ft HO scale layout featuring railroads that ran through the Lehigh Valley in the 60’s and 70’s. Lehigh Valley, Reading and Central New Jersey. The layout uses NCE DCC and is fully detected and signaled using Digitrax components. It has a CTC center with a dispatcher, computer and 6 monitors controlling train movements. The layout was featured in the September 2013 issue of Model Railroader magazine on the cover and pages 44-51."

Ive seen the video on that layout before, very nice, just wish they would have shown more trains running.
This layout is fully signaled and the dispatcher's desk is unbelievable. When the holidays approach check out their schedule and at the same time check out the Nazareth Area Club in Stockertown and the Black Diamond Society in Bethlehem, both just a few minutes away. Both have O-Gauge and HO layouts. You can visit all three on the same dates. All three groups are very friendly and run lots of trains. My clan makes this an annual event. There are even more open houses on the same or similar dates within a 45 minute ride. One can visit as many as 5 layouts on the same day.
That is an amazing layout. It shows what a dedicate group can accomplish in a relatively short (10 years) time frame. It took a lot of planning, work and money. I can't help to think that the layout is over twice as big as my home. I would love to see it in person someday.
