Not too long ago I purchased a K-Line Southern Scale Mikado. All of the wheels were painted white sidewalls. There was some chipping of the paint so I did some retouching. I ran the engine around the track which includes an Atlas right and left hand turnout and noticed that the white paint had been scraped off. Is there something about the Atlas 21st century track turnouts that would scrape off the paint. I talked to the Atlas Rep at the York show and he blamed it on the paint and adhesive to the metal that K-line used. I don't have a section of track that doesn't have turnouts so its hard to prove. Any help would be appreciated.
