I recently posted my cosmetically like new LGB 30th Anniversary B&O F7 A-B-A on the OGR For Sale Forum and even reduced the already fair price yet no takers after 200 views. ??? Luckily, I sold it back to my dealer from whom I purchased it for the same price. Happy ending!
"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.
Post your non-O scale stuff here!

And yes, I am aware this is mainly an O gauge forum, but there are a number of multi-gaugers on board here. Just sayin...
Why are you perplexed? Because no one wanted to buy it?
How do you know there were 200 views? I didn't know we could tell.
I looked at that set and they looked really nice. Glad you came out ok.
A little shy of 200.

I couldn't find the original and just used a stand in.
Well, for what it is worth, there are several G gauge and Large Scale groups on Facebook, and I have had good success selling stuff there. I sure don't trust FB anywhere near as much as I trust the OGR forum (and its participants), but the specialty groups there are at least mostly populated by fans of a specific gauge or even a specific brand. This makes things a bit easier. On the minus side, a lot of folks there only want to pay via PayPal, and I don't do PayPal. Still, I have had a 100% success rate selling there and no complaint from, pr problems with, buyers.
Also, a lot of sellers require Friends & Family transfer on Paypal. Buyer's have no recourse using that option. I skip ads like that. Just add the 3% into your price.
I do not like, nor participate, in FB, due to their questionable past political behavior.
FYI: The last time I checked before deletion, there were 199 views.
I like N Gauge as well as my O Gauge.

All is well that ends well! :-)
The customer is always right in matters of taste. I guess nobody was hungry for that set. Looked nice though, I'm just not a G scale guy these days.
Possible explanation: Half the people who may have been interested in buying it 10 years ago are now dead.

Explanation spot on, the LGB / Garden Railways boom of the 1990's has passed on to history.
The original LGB products made in Germany are still in demand. Again, the OGR Forum understandably is not really the place to sell these items, as I discovered.
The boom is over, but LGB products still sell well in the proper venues.
I'm betting people here didn't want it badly enough to pay your asking price.
Some folks just missed out on two like new USA Trains Ultimate Series G freight cars at a steal price. After 135 views, I pulled the ad. I decided I would rather leave them on the shelf than give them away. They were priced well below a dealer's cost, and could easily have been store-sold for a decent profit.
