I attached the antenna to the hand rails and the ten foot dead section became a two foot dead section so I added another foot a wire to the antenna and BINGO, TRAIN HEVEN. THANK,S

Steve, That means the receiver on the R2LC is not as sensitive as "Normal" ones. Don't remember your original post, but a swap of R2LC may improve performance. Of course the extra wire has fixed it. Sometime R2LC don't work as well at receiving as they should, or degrade overtime. Small numbers, but it does happen. G
