Can anyone tell me what the (P) is that has shown up on the right side top line of my DCS LCD display, and how to remove it?
Thank you,
rudy

I think there is a P for Playback of a recorded session (route or whatever you can record?), but I have never used it and don't know how to turn it off or on for that matter. Maybe Barry will be along with instructions.

That would be correct. To clear ir from the display, press: Menu/Advanced/Record/Playback. Then, press the STP soft key.
This and a whole lot more is all in MTH’s “The DCS O Gauge Companion 2nd Edition", available for purchase as an eBook or a printed book at MTH's web store!

The old memory must be remembering a few things from your book. Not near enough, but it's a start

i got the same thing rudy got ,but its (t). there is no tether hooked between the tiu and hand held remote.sometimes i can do a remote reset to clear the "t" but i start all over to add engines.-jim
If you get a "T" when not tethered, check to see if any opines in the remote are bent or touching each other.
Resetting the remote isn't going to correct bent pins, except sometimes it may seem that it does if they are only touching intermittently.
rudy, forgive me since i feel like i hijacked your thread, but our problems are about the same.
i checked the pins in the remote, none of them are bent or touching. turned on the remote today after it has set unused for thr past week, got the same (t) display on the remote- i guess i could add the engines at each operating session, but id like to fix it so it works the right way.i ruled out the layout, the engines and the wiring/tiu, i have a 2nd remote and it is working perfect. the remotes are identified #1 and#2-jim
Mixerman,
Not at all hope you get it sorted out!
