I just received this engine and it barely moves I was wondering if y’all think it’s broken. It’s CP 9107 TMCC Year 04

Check for something binding the drive mechanism.
Perhaps a loose traction tire.

What controller are you using ? Stupid question if a cab 2 is the brake set to on?
If this is an Odyssey equipped locomotive and you're running conventional, this occasionally happens. Try turning off speed control.

I use cab 1
For the CAB1, try this.
To clear the TMCC speed limit, address engine and hold down SET for one second and then BOOST for one second. This should clear the speed limit.
