ERTL 2865 Diecast 1931 Hawkeye Wrecker Truck in 1:34 scale

This is a diecast metal 1:34 scale model of a 1931 Hawkeye wrecker truck that could be used on a G scale model railroad layout or diorama. The model is lettered for "Chevrolet Sales & Service". The model is typical of other similar Ertl collectible coin banks.

The following prototype information was printed on the Ertl box:

The Hawkeye Truck Company of Sioux City, Iowa started business in 1916 manufacturing the "Hawkeye Motor Truck". Models ranged in size from 1 ton to 3-1/2 tons. 4 cylinder Buda engines were standard until 1926 when a 6 cylinder became available.
