i have a small g scale collection that includes
a lionel polar express set and a custom painted LGB reefer car
i would like to expand my roster but am unsure of what to get
the railroad i want to make is in the north pole
is there any snowy rolling stock i can purchase
any sets or engines you recommend

Several Large Scale makers offer White Pass and Yukon equipment.

They offer several Large Scale Christmas sets and other appropriate items. I believe Trainworld, among others, sells their Large Scale line.
When I was Product Manager for Aristo in early 1990's, created a roadname...North Pole & Snowflake RR. Many different locomotives, freight and passenger cars along with buildings were made with this RRname. Red/green with gold lettering and some even had snow decoration.
Even though Aristo is out of business, you can still find many of the Christmas theme items on auction sites and some hobby stores.

LGB made quite a few White Pass &Yukon locomotives, freight and passenger cars. Diesels offered in the different color schemes that WP&Y used (caboose too).
One in particular is pretty pricey: LGB 21832 Aster #73 (2-8-2 Mikado), if you can find one; only 600 made.
