Here is an active topic about Grand Central LTD.
No luck reaching Rick at GC Ltd. today.
I made an online purchase in November and received a confirmation email of the sale. But I have not received an email that my item has been shipped and have not been charged. So I am assume that Grand Central LTD. is out of business.
I just spoke with Rick, he’s alive & kicking!
Said to mention he’s having problems with his phone system so he will be in touch!

Strange that this still appears to be an active website. No indication that there's been a suspension of operations or anything else. There is a statement that last inventory was taken Oct. 9, 2022, but there are also some out-of-date statements like saying they have new Atlas O announcements from 2021-2022.
Hope all is well. Purchased several items from him over the years.

Phone problems for 5 months????
While he's waiting for the phone to be repaired. He can remove the hundreds of items that have long been sold out ,from his website.
I have had nothing but very positive contact & results with Grand Central. No wonder we have less & less Hobby Shops. Anyone who’s been in business knows how hard it is to stay in business, if you doubt this - try opening your own shop.
Rick is a very nice person. He is always kind to me and allows me to browse and ask questions as long as I like in the store. I must say though, I have had similar troubles asking about inventory that's been gone a while. Rick still does train shows, but the last one he was at, he didn't have terribly much on the table. I don't know him well enough to ask, but it makes me wonder if he might be scaling down and looking to get out in the near term.
Just as in the other thread, I am closing this one. There is obvious some problems but no need to continue the discussion. Topic closed.
