I went to see Heaven Is For Real today and never thought about trains and there are 2 scenes in the movie that have 2 Canadian Pacific trains in it. Ones an Intermodal and the other is a freight. Great scenes though. I do know this movie was filmed in Canada and the plot takes place in Nebraska. So please nobody start about CP in Nebraska. Just thought I would share. Overall I thought the movie was great. I just wanted to tell you about the 2 trains. Also this movie has some great shots of Wheat Fields.

Hmmm. What trains are in heaven? I'm thinking of fancy painted 4-4-0 locos from the Civil War period, maybe some very early British steamers too. OK, I have something to look forward to then.

Cool....thought I saw some trains in the film trailer.....
Strictly a coincidence, but I'm planning to go see that movie tomorrow evening. Hopefully it's as upbeat as the title implies.
The book was very eye opening.

Ah . . . well . . . I was thinking of something with polished stainless steel side panels, a red nose, an Indian head, and a single digit number, Kent. Maybe there will be several trains in heaven. I know there will be coffee!

My parents and son saw it yesterday. Based upon their feedback, I believe you'll be pleased with the movie. Speaking from her own experience as our family has taken several tragic and unexpected hits, my mother told me it will make anyone who has suffered a close personal loss feel very positive about what's happened to their loved one. I've got to find time to go see the movie myself.
