I just purchased a Hartland Locomotive Works G scale V&T INYO set at a garage sale. I absolutely
cannot find a thing online about it. Anyone have any info on this. I contacted HLW and all they told
me was they made a few of them several years ago.

Seems very odd the maker, HLW, could NOT provide info about THEIR own product? 
That's what I thought. I have requested more info. I think this train may be one of their early
ones. I don't think they are making this 4-4-0 style anymore in any name.
Maybe it's an old Kalamazoo set?

No, it is definitely HLW, all the parts are clearly marked HLW. I will add
a couple of pics once I get years of dust off it.

you might check: the phil jensen story delton to hartland, it might show your locomotive. the paint & cab of your locomotive makes me think of the lionel g scale locomotives.

Hartland modified and improved the old Kalmazoo 4-4-0 using the old Delton Locomotive Works C-16 cab and domes, the coaches are also ex-Delton Locomotive works.
