Going to be really hot and humid here today. But the holiday steam special is going on as planned for the most part. The railway did push the start time back due to the heat and the train will return home in the evening twilight and cooler temps. The shop crew has eased Frank S out of the engine house and are busy wiping him down, polishing the lanterns and making sure he is looking his best. Coaching stock has been spotted at the platform, clean and ready for boarding. Plenty of refreshments will be on hand, espically for the engine crew up in that hot cab.
