I have a few Mini Catalogs. Loved them when I was a kid. These are the 1954 versions. The mini only had the center two pages in color. Bet many of you didn't even know about them. Would like to know how many years they made them. Don

Yes, I have the same two catalogs from 1954 and they are some of my favorites from the Postwar years. I just checked on the internet for mini Lionel catalogs and they show them for the following years: 1913 ,1914,1925-1932 and 1953 - 1954. There may be others too.

Thanks, I know I have the 53 mini and thought I had one more but I can't picture what year it was. Must only have two. Thought they was a great selling idea for Lionel. Don

I have the 1981....and wasn't 1997 or 98 a mini one....the kid who was standing on the railroad tracks?
I have the HSL copies of all the PostWar minis....so, I guess that doesn't really count....

It’s a shame that in Lionel/MPC’s best year they printed a catalog the size of a matchbook. Ever tried to actually read the thing? You’ll need your eyeglass prescription adjusted afterwards.
The full size 1981 catalog handed out at Toy Fair is very hard to find.
(Regarding the original subject, I have the ‘53 and ‘54 mini catalogs)
Half the boys in my 1954 class in grade school had the mini in their back pocket. Don
I grew up in San Francisco and got the 53 & 54 mini catalogs at Jack Colliers Toys for Men and the regular catalogs at the Emporium in SF,those were the days.
