Do the frames project out of the plastic or are they grooves? For projections you could use a rubber roller like you would a paint roller after rolling it on paint over glass.

For grooves just fill with cheap craft store acrylic and wipe off with a damp cloth.

I put one together with tape to get an idea of how they would fit in the scene I'm considering.  The darn things don't need to be highlighted.  There's enough of a "ridge" for each window that the lighting makes them stand out just fine.  Thanks anyway.

Now if I can find one more kit I'll be a happy little boy in an old man's casing.

Get tiny little people to do the painting.
