I don't want to elaborate right now.
We always think of bad stuff happening to other people, then one day we have something happen that shakes things up. We don't tend to think about details and planning for an issue, then something happens and we are at a loss. Sometimes it is something small and sometimes we lose a lot.
The reason for my post is this, you never know when something bad will happen. Make an inventory of everything you have, list it all in detail and note valuations. Often times our home owners insurance covers things only up to a certain value. After that value you lose everything else. Extra insurance is an option. I thought about extra insurance at one time and told myself "it can't happen to me", then it did.
Please, no sympathy or inquiries. Just keep this in mind, make a good inventory and make sure you are adequately covered.
