I was browsing an upcoming auction over on Stout’s and noticed quite a collection of custom painted brass HO steam locomotives. Pretty much everything under the sun, lots of different importers as well as railroad prototypes are represented.

The most interesting part is they are nearly all custom painted in grey for Arroyo Pacific.

Anyone know the story behind that?
