Great work Pete. Love the video. I had HO trains growing up. Started the same way with a Lionel ATSF streamliner set from my Dad. Great memories!

I had a Marklin catalog that I just about wore out flipping through the pages over and over again.

When I got married my wife wanted a Xmas train. At that time, Horne's Dept. store in Pgh. sold Marklin HO trains. Every Xmas I would add engines, cars, track & switches. We had a nice layout. In 85 our house burned and the layout and  everything were in the basement and got soaked. I salvaged everything but the track, was easier to buy new. Later I  added some older trains that I bought cheap in an antique store. Later I gave it all to my younger son, that when he divorced, left it all behind. If I did HO again I would buy Marklin.  I still speak to my son but can't forget.

Great video. I grew up with 00 gauge mostly Hornby and Lima.
