"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

I normally model in O scale but I recently found my childhood HO scale Marklin trains that my Dad bought for me in the mid-sixties. My layouts usually tends to be UFO themed. This past week I decided to construct a small layout and incorporate my Marklin trains as a thank you to my Dad for starting me off on this hobby and to indulge my UFO/Sci-Fi insanity.
I thought the best way to do this is to create a second version of my Invasion Trailer which I posted on the O scale forum awhile back.
Well, here it is.....hope you enjoy it as much as I did..... hooking up smoke units, adding lights.....glueing up models and of course running the HO trains I had as a kid.

When I got married my wife wanted a Xmas train. At that time, Horne's Dept. store in Pgh. sold Marklin HO trains. Every Xmas I would add engines, cars, track & switches. We had a nice layout. In 85 our house burned and the layout and  everything were in the basement and got soaked. I salvaged everything but the track, was easier to buy new. Later I  added some older trains that I bought cheap in an antique store. Later I gave it all to my younger son, that when he divorced, left it all behind. If I did HO again I would buy Marklin.  I still speak to my son but can't forget.
