Hello all, my burning question is, is there a mth premier forty niner, Crusader, or Commodore Vanderbilt.? Item numbers (if they exist,) would be helpful.

The only scale Commodore Vanderbilt in 3-Rail O right now is Lionel's assortment from the 90s. A newly-tooled finely-detailed model is long overdue.
MTH has never done these engines in Premier. As PC9850 mentioned, Lionel did a scale Commodore Vanderbilt in the late 1990s. Weaver did do a scale UP 49er 4-6-2 and a scale Reading Crusader 4-6-2 in brass in the 1990s.
I would love to see the Rexall Train made. It ran all over the country so any railroad could run it in three rail. Don

Bill,
Weaver also made a beautiful scale, Santa Fe "Valley Flyer". In service with UP 49er serving California's Bay Area.

The Weaver UP engine comes up for auction occasionally. In fact, there's one on the (Bleep) auction currently. It's gorgeous for its styling and paint job, to be sure. It must have driven the UP paint shop of its era crazy proud!...the engine maintenance guys, just crazy!.
The downside of those Weaver imports of that generation, though, is that they're neither TMCC/Legacy nor DCS...if that's an issue for the buyer. The one currently offered has "sound and smoke", but that'll be somewhat analogous to Railsounds or Protosounds 1.0. Upgrades will cost +++$$$....a consideration.
I wouldn't hold my breath re MTH doing any of the three you posed interest in. Their investments lately seem to be in more lucrative markets....e.g., Europe, HO, S.
I have two of the Weaver early brass engines....the DRGW M-64 and the B&O P7e Cincinnatian....keepers, all.

Every now and again a Weaver Santa Fe "Valley Flyer" shows up on the bay. I'd love to own one. The real expense would be having a set of cars painted to match. It's one of those that would be like a piece of fine art. IMHO
