For you fellows who are enraptured by Firefox - why am I getting a security warning from Firefox advising me to disable Java 6 due to security issues?
Nobody else is complaining about Java.

I haven't seen anything about this particular issue but when I read about stuff like this, I do more research before doing anything else. For example, I might start by plugging "Firefox Java Security Warning" into my favorite search engine and see what pops up. Make sure you pay attention to the dates of the articles and look at the stuff that is current.
There have been some Java security vulnerabilities lately. I do not keep Java enabled in a web browser.

I've seen that come up here, too. I just close the window and I don't worry about it.
