LaGrange has the track down the street. I have been startled to have the light quickly turn red and a diesel road engine coming at me as l was about drive through the intersection. But l only occasionally pass by on the interstate.
The LaGrange Historical Society needs to move this layout and would like to sell it. The books show approximately $20,000 into the 12' x 20' layout. Trees have been removed and are currently in plastic bins. Rolling stock and engines are also stored under the layout. Let's face it, this is a good looking room size layout which was open to the public and must have had good looking rolling stock. I do not have an inventory, but I do have their point of contact phone number. I have been asked to post these photographs at a $6,000 sale price. Or make a reasonable offer.
