Perhaps the brass models are already being produced in limited amounts and they will be sold on-line in May to the most eager customers. They will be super-rare collectables.

Does anyone know if the U.P. 119 and the Jupiter in the set are lionchief or are they lionchief plus 2.0?

Thanks, that is what I figured, but I was not so sure that they would be.
It must be a upward spiral cycle with the price of the non-powered locomotives.
They do not get enough initial orders to match the powered units, then they raise the price, meaning less people order the next round of the models, then that leads to another price increase from the factory.

I am not sure if I want to order any locomotives.
The Detroit & Mackinac C-420 diesel locomotive is interesting, but the fine gold letting is faint on a white background.
The ES44AC diesel-electric locomotives are impressively large machines, but i can see the real ones if I can wait beside the GTW/CN tracks for a few hours.
