@MartyE posted:I bought MTH and it's now "MartyE's Train House" I saved a ton not making a new logo. Or maybe it's staying "Mike's Train House". The movie "Twins" comes to mind. LOL!
Now that sounds good. We know that Marty will continue with great quality items with correct paint, sounds, and couplers that are quality as well.
All joking aside, the best thing to come out of all this may be yet to come, or could be a so so to come. We all had that sinking feeling(yeah, Titanic was also playing in the background) when Mike said he was retiring and MTH would be closing. There was an entire topic(or 4 until just the one was left open) not only congratulating Mike, but also thanking him for moving the O Scale industry to scale. Without Mike, we all would still be playing with tons and tons of postwar engines(not that there's anything wrong with it).
Whatever direction Lionel goes with whatever is coming down the rails(pun intended), we will either buy, sell, or do nothing at all.
Yes the industry is changing, it always changes, hopefully in the right direction(I know I didn't say better, not the right words). Questions will come out and hopefully Lionel can and will answer them.
