Hello, I've just received a brand new unopened Pennsylvania 18068 6 wheel tender, question I have is their any issues I should check out before putting it on track, in other words, board foam deterioration or does this unit have the plastic cradle to secure the board, just a question, before I remove the shell which I would like to not do if not necessary, Thank You Frank

You will be fine, I bought mine sealed years ago at auction, plugged it right into the engine and it ran and sounded perfectly!

No problems that I am aware of.

I have had one for many years and run it often.
