Dean, I entered an order on Friday, but never got any email with an acknowledgment, did the order go through?  Is there someone I can contact or email to check to make sure it's entered?

I placed an order. I never have gotten a confirmation. When the site was up again Friday night my order was processing in “My Lionel” space. 

I placed my order VERY EARLY Friday(12:10AM) without problems.    Yesterday(Sunday) heard a noise outside on the porch.   Lo and behold,  it was the USPS mailwoman delivering my Lionel parts order!   I know many of you couldn't place your parts order because of the website crash.   I was fortunate and just want to thank Lionel customer service for their lightning quick shipping of my order.

Same here w/ placing the order around 12:10AM FRI and my little box arrived today.  Many thanks to the Lionel staff and their continued annual LCCA weekend event.

TRW is correct.   Several years ago,  I placed a parts order but never received the confirming email even though the web page stated that I would receive one after the order was placed.   After a few days,  I phoned Lionel to ask about my order status and the lack of a confirming email.   The Lionel customer service girl told me that my order had been placed and accepted,  but they no longer send confirming emails on parts orders.

One more question.  How long does it typically take to get a parts order.   Clearly they will be backed up right now but just wondering timelines in the past.    Assuming they have them In stock.  

I ordered Friday morning around 8AM. I think last year it was about a week.  This time, they are due to arrive today.
