LIONEL STANDARD "O" BEER REEFERS

I've always had an interest in the Lionel Standard "O" reefers, 6-9802 Miller Beer, 6-9807 Stroh's, and 6-9825 Schaefer Beer but I've seen several of the Stroh's reefers at train shows and the Logo seemed to look like a decal to me. Did Lionel use decals to decorate these cars?
