I am thinking about purchasing one of these engines. The only thing I am not a big fan of is how the wires come out to operate the class lights. Not a big deal, but I was wondering if anyone else thought that it too isn't the most aesthically pleasing part of the engine.
I am not trying to pick the engine apart, but as I am starting to collect/run these larger scale engines, I am not a huge fan of the holes in the boiler fronts to illuminate the number boards or class lights. With that being said, it hasn't stopped me from purchasing any. My Lionel PRR engines look great as it seems they are made in such a way that they can be hidden, but not so much with the Berks and Hudsons.
I'm sure if they weren't there, complaints would be made because of their absence. Can't please 100% of the people...
