Thanx for the Christmas Greeting, Dave.  Appreciate all the best wishes in this rather difficult Holiday Season.  But I just can't understand how you guys can celebrate Christmas during the warmest part of the year!   If I lived down under, I think I'd put my Christmas tree up in July, no?

Oh well, I realize that Jesus was actually born in relatively warm country.  So, maybe not having ice and snow wouldn't really change anything.  Hope that you and your family have a lovely and meaningful Christmas and look forward to a great New Year!

Nick, we were in WA this past March, also spent a couple of days with Dave in his own paradise. Lots of really nice beaches just west of Perth.  Tough to take as Dave's picture illustrates so well.

It really is beautiful here. Wish a trip to Sydney would have been in the cards this time as well, as it wouldn't have been too far to visit with Dave. Maybe next time!

Actually Paul," Christmas in July" is a popular gimic with restaurants, particularly in the mountain areas where it might snow.
