Anyone have the Mighty Casey ore car? I have aquired the hopper and would like close up pictures of the car so I can make the rest of the car so it looks close to what Remco made.

Oh well. I saw the listing but I have to sign up to the Goodwill sight to bid. I would but it takes 14 days to complete registration. The listing ends in 11 hours !

When you say you acquired the hopper,do you mean the red gondola? They never made a hopper car. I have a copy of the brochure that has a photo of the ore car they had planned,but it never went into production. I can send a copy to you. Let me know.
Not the red car, a yellow bucket. I have the brochure. I am guessing the ore car is like the caboose.

Can you post a picture of what you have? I am very interested to see any rare Mighty Casey items.
Here are pictures of the hopper that came with Remco Train parts. I have made a tank car so I will make a bottom for an ore car about the same as I made for the tank car. You can see the one of the wooden couplers I make.
