Great job everyone!!!
Pat Kn posted:Great pictures Peter. The layout looks great. Your club does a lot of good for your community and the hobby with your displays. I'm looking forward to this weekend when my club has its Annual Holiday Open House. It's fun for us operators too.
Thank you, Pat......just as it is for you, it is a labor of love!
Peter
Very nice Peter. Your group is a great example of public outreach.
Don
Thanks for the pictures Peter. Running trains for the public really gets the Ho Ho Ho going in your laugh.
Thank you, guys!
Peter
Great pics Peter. Wish I lived closer - would love to see the layout in action, especially if some of that NYC steam power was running (that and I have to pick up a couple of poinsettias tomorrow!!!). How big is the display?
Another fine layout to share with everyone! It's great you guys take the time to set up such impressive displays.

Wow... that is a great view. I am totally envious of those long straight runs!!! Can not imagine the amount of work it is to set that up - and that doesn't even begin to cover building the modules and being there to run the trains (OK... that last one might not actually be work). You and your group are a real credit to the hobby and your community.
You guys are having WAAAAY too much fun.

You bet! ..........nothing beats this time of year!

While I was at work, the guys sent me this video. They were at work, too......promoting the hobby. Great job, guys!

And one more.. we had five trains running on the two mainlines. Having way too much fun!!!!
The neat thing was:
AeroTrain: Conventional, MTH LocoSounds
Southern: TMCC, Atlas
Polar RailRoad: Legacy Lionel
Thomas: LionChief Lionel
Mail Train: MTH DCS PS-2
Running everything, all at once. This was a good shake-down run for Children's Day on 01/21/
Thanks, Tom.....
Getting ready for a 35 car army train this weekend!

Gilly and Peter;
To quote Moe, Larry, and Curley, "success... success... success"!!!
Nice job. Really like the "street level" view.
Gilly and Peter;
Great ground level video's. Compliments to you and the guys at River City 3-Railers.
Gerry
Last weekend, we were "snowed out" on Saturday the 7th. On the 8th we were open for train running.
Peter
I put together another video......the NYC Hudson.
Peter
Peter,
What is there not to like? Hudson, military train, Geexer Gorge bridge, stone viaduct, signal tower, stone church, even the concrete road!!! It is a fantastic job you folks have done!!
Thanks, Mark. It truly is a blast to do. This weekend was "Classic Trains Weekend" where the public was invited to bring their childhood trains to run. This a sample of what was brought:
Unfortunately, I missed out this weekend......being "hors de combat" from my knee arthroscopy on Friday......
Peter
That's great!
BTW, how are you doing after surgery?
Nice pictures Gilly and Peter. You guys perform a service to your community and to model Railroading.
Hope you get better soon Peter.
Thanks guys. I have a few more pics and maybe another video or 2 to post, once I organize them.
......and I am doing very well. I hope to be off pain meds today.....and walk out side to get the newspaper.
I will be ready for York!
Peter
The display and trains look awesome as usual! Hope your feeling better soon Peter.
The last 2 videos, one new, one older:

Nice pictures Peter. Looks like a rear end collision about to happen.
Thanks fellas.....this is the last weekend at the GreenHouse. We starting taking down at 2PM Saturday. We're excited......visiting dignitaries are coming Saturday......a delegation from the Trackers is coming to look at our lift bridge module.
Peter
Another great setup at the Greenhouse, Peter, Tom, and Gang!!
Yesterday, January 21, was official end of our exhibition year. We ended our at week run at the Great Big GreenHouse and dismantled the layout for winter storage. We had a real treat yesterday. A visiting delegation from the Trackers came to look at our bridge module. Here are some shots of our last day and pictures of Steve Kehr (L&N) on the Forum and his son (B&O940) talking to our group. Their visit was the highlight of what is always a sad day....take-down.
I took a lot of video the last few days and will work on those the next 2 weeks.
Peter
Thank you to everyone at RC3R for your gracious hospitality and everyone certainly made us feel welcome. As far as being the highlight, I think there were a lot of junior engineers with big smiles that gave me a warm feeling.
Steve
So Steve, what words of wisdom did Gilly give you and your son?
Thank you Peter for keeping us up to date on your modular group's season!! It was great!
He said to build it like furniture.
