first off why worry about what others think, its your hobby

second on going overboard... really if you have 2 tracks then you only need 2 locomotives, in reality buy what you want and can afford. we only go thru life once so why not enjoy.

third you are asking the wrong guy i have many multiples including 2 Pennsy Turbines in 2 rail scale brass and just sold my 3rd one and as most know Pennsy only had 1 turbine. and at 1 time had 4 S1 Pennsy locos 3 Morts sr Sunset and 1 3rail Lionel and Pennsy only had 1. i don't about multiples. i buy what i can afford!

I share Matt's affliction and affection for the fixed-pilot SD70ace's from MTH.  I have four UP units and two BNSF, with more on pre-order.  (Still on the fence if I should try to nab the GB4141 that was just re-released.)

I also have a lionel sd70ace in S-scale.

  2. ATSF 1869 (Fantasy scheme, but I'm the self-appointed Information Minister of the Isle of Denial so I had to get that one since But it's Not Santa Fe hasn't done a heritage series).
  3. UP Heritage Western Pacific
  4. UP Heritage Missouri Pacific
  5. UP Heritage Rio Grande
  6. UP Heritage Missouri Kansas and Texas "Katy"
  7. UP Heritage Chicago & Northwestern
