The latest MTH catalogue states that there is a lash up feature. My question is how does that work?

You will need DCS to operate in lash up mode. If you operate in conventional ,mode then you can always double head them. BTW I have the first issue in the LIRR paint scheme, its a GREAT little engine with pulling power and really nice sounds

Two engines at the head end of a train in other words in multiple unit (MU) operation, also known as a lash up (which is improper terminology for engines which are in multiple unit operation).

Place your two engines on the track with both fronts headed the same direction and run them both together in conventional mode.

I run conventional and do this with a couple of Kline S2's . Just lock both engines in forward and enjoy.
