Curiosity is killing me, what makes smoke fluid used?….was it burnt and put back in the bottle??……🤔

Too funny, Pat. It looked like a partially filled bottle. The others that came were filled above the label to the top curve. This one is about  a quarter to half inch lower than those two.  Also, no fluid was in the bag. However, this is the response I just got - talk about great service -

We are sending a new, inspected under frame detail part. We are also including 1 bottle of smoke fluid as a courtesy. The correct fill level is about the top of the label, but I do know some were over-filled. Rest assured none were "used". Order#129

I’m just giving ya a hard time Strap, …🤣🤣🤣🤣….if you’re an outsider and you read what you wrote, it’s kinda “ how’d they use it and get it back in the bottle?” 😉

Hey All,

Just thought I'd give you all an update about the new parts site. We have added a 6th section to the homepage called "Helpful Stuff & Videos" (found in the lower RH corner in the center of the homepage). In this section are the downloadable documents that contain the RailKing steam & diesel motor charts, Premier Diesel motor charts; revised, easier to read traction tire chart, part number decoding document as well as all the videos from the MTH Trains website (including some training videos on how to use the site). We invite you to come take a look when you have a few minutes; MTH Parts & Sales LLC website

Thank you,

FYI on the old pasts system you needed the hyphen in the part number. On the new part system don’t put the hyphen in when ordering a part even though the part number on parts lists shows the hyphen ,

When I went to order parts , when I had the hyphen in the part number , it would say not available, then I took out the hyphen and then the part showed up .

Yippee I got the parts 3 days later.

Thanks Mike Reagan for taking on this important and humongous job!

May it get easier for you in the future ! Job well done

I need better part descriptions so I stop ordering the wrong parts. Until each engine has a parts diagram, we have to guess at what parts will fit it. I sent an email of the exact problem.
