Hello,
Is there anyone that repairs QSI PS1 circuit boards.
I have (2) units, 1 no sound or dings, 1 dings, has sound, doesnt move...
or know what is a common failure or cheap upgrade replacement ?

MTH Board yes. DCRUs yes. Actual QSI 3 stack set ups no. G
Five things come to mind.
New Battery
Do a Reset 18
The Proto 1 Reset chip
Possibly a de-select chip issue, that requires a replacement.
Replace Proto1 board set.
You can try the first 2 items easy enough, the last 3 probably needs to go to one of us service centers.

If the common resets or the reset chip for the three clanks don't do it, the next thing I try is transplant the sound chip to a working board set. I keep a bunch of board sets around for repairs.
Well, returning it may be the best bet. Hard to say if that chip is bad or what it really is. Looks like MTH is no longer selling the PS/1 chips...
